What We Do

Peace of Mind Residential Care provides residential support to adults with developmental disabilities in northern Virginia. We provide them with a structured, safe, nurturing, and effective environment while treating each and every one with integrity, dignity, and respect. As an organization, it is our belief that encouraging all individuals to pursue their dreams is vital. Also, we are passionate about assisting them in living their best life possible.


Peace of Mind Residential Care is a family-owned and operated home with strong Christian beliefs and values, but we support every individual’s belief systems. We encourage family, friends, and neighbors to be a natural support as we assist their loved ones in becoming integrated into the community. We host many events, functions, gatherings, and outings to promote and develop strong bonds. We provide the adults under our care with a true home and peace of mind.

About the Owner

The owner of Peace of Mind Residential Care is a registered nurse who has worked in critical care and managed the telemetry unit for many years, caring for adults with developmental disabilities and other medical comorbidities. Peace of Mind Residential Care strongly believes in supporting a healthy mind, body, and soul — nurturing these three aspects of all human beings addresses the person as a whole.


Our small home setting makes it possible for us to provide individualized attention, allowing more opportunities for every individual under our care. The Members of the Board of Directors, Management, as well as the staff all support the personal outcomes of each individual, believing in the importance of natural support from friends and neighbors, as well.
